Delhi Skill University signs MoU to place students in Japan

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) signed a memorandum of understanding to train and place students in Japan, an official statement said on Tuesday. The university has entered into an exclusive partnership with the HI-NO-DE Foundation, jointly with Ichishin Holdings Co. Ltd., to implement the In-House Technical Training Program (TITP) to train, empower and place young people in the ‘India, especially those in Delhi,’ he said.

“We have officially signed with HI-NO-DE and Ichishin to be able to send students from India, especially Delhi, to Japan,” DSEU Vice-Chancellor Neharika Vohra said at the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding.

“This marks the start of a great relationship which is not only international, but with a country with which we have a great relationship (Japan),” Vohra said.

Interns selected to go to Japan under the program would not only gain skills that meet international standards, but also earn “impressive” salaries from their internship there, the statement said.

Through this partnership with HI-NO-DE, DSEU hopes to train as many young people as possible in various job categories, he added.

TITP is expected to launch by October. In addition, students will also learn Japanese from Japanese instructors, the statement said.
